I didn’t weight it once I filled it because everybody’s idea of how much makeup you need to pack differs 🤭….and I always overpack it would vary so much. The inside of the case has plenty of spots for brushes, eye shadow compacts, sponges, foundation, etc.the hold a good amount. The light inside charges up fast in order to be able to use it (in case you run the charge out and need the lighted mirror quick it’s not a wait) the lights dim through different settings with a citron on the bottom
of the mirror. The added magnifying mirror for tweezing is only 5X Zoom. (I think either a 10X or 15X would be better for people that wear glasses.
The case is beautiful. The pink is a pretty shade and the closures are a pretty rose gold with a rose gold logo plate on the front with its name and some characters that I cannot read. And the handle is a very sturdy sort of rubberized coated plastic and is comfortable carrying it.
My only issue is with the weight.
*****BUT: I knew the weight when I ordered it and I am not using this for travel. It’s actually perfect for me. I’m using it at home right now because my in laws moved in with us (for the near future) and we cleared out our room so they could have a sitting area, a balcony, and big bathroom with the double sinks and the whole shebang….
Which means we’re in one of the guest rooms that the bathrooms are really small and have a lot of storage to speak of. I have some of the makeup that I usually need, that was in my vanity, in this. And it’s worked out perfectly!
And when I travel for longer trips and check my bags I wouldn’t even give it another thought about the size and weight, but it’s not ideal for someone who only does a carry on bag. But that’s not who it was made for anyway. A professional makeup artist hat is going to someone’s home or a hotel to do bridal makeup for instance, would totally love this!
It’s seriously a beautiful case and I wouldn’t hesitate to give this as a gift, but knowing everything going in.
I happen to love it and WILL be packing it when I go to Italy in May! So it’s a win win for me.
When I took the makeup case out of the box I was amazed at how beautiful it actually really is. It came in the softest drawstring bag and it is large and has some weight to it. When you open it up there is no fuzz but nice plastic trays and it’s big enough to hold all of my daily make up and brushes. The mirror, it’s unreal beautiful. This mirror is the whole size of your case and its big and has three different shades of light. This case is charged by a usb cord that is included and it is long. I love love love the mirror.
To me this is more than a makeup case with an amazing mirror, it is a luxury! I mean it I think it’s a good value and you will have it forever! I highly absolutely recommend it!!
